A little backstory for this week's challenge:
Sometimes when I don't have a palette already picked out for a certain week, I look at the calendar and see if there are any holidays/events occurring that I might can find a palette for. So I was looking at the first week of March, not seeing anything, when my calendar reminded me that the 3rd is Super Tuesday! If you're unaware, Super Tuesday is "the election day early in a United States presidential primary season (February or March) when the greatest number of U.S. states hold primary elections and caucuses." And no matter your political opinions, I think everyone can agree that voting is important, right? So, I decided to enter some political terms (i.e. - politics, voting, election) into the colourlovers search bar and see what came up. I didn't want to just do a red, white, and blue palette because 1.) that's very USA-centric and 2.) we've already had a
challenge like that before. (See all of the icons that were made for that for that challenge
here in the hall of fame post made by the wonderful @tinny). All of that to say, I saw the above palette, thought it was pretty/not specific to one country, and it still fit my political theme idea since it had voting as the title, lol.
